eBay already offers mobile alerts. Why would I want to use eAuctionAlerts?
Because eBay charges you 25 cents per auction for their alerts and our service is free. eBay's service does offer some additional advanced features, however, we've found that most people just want reminders to bid on their auctions.
My cell phone carrier isn't listed. Is there any way I can use the service?
If your located in the US or Canada, you can email us and let us know who your carrier is, and we'll look into adding them. We should be able to support almost all carriers!
Do I need to have an eBay account to use your service?
No, you do not need to have an eBay account to use our service! You will need one if you want to actually bid on items on eBay though. If you don't already have an eBay account you can sign up here.
How do I find the eBay item number?
The eBay item number of an auction can be found towards the top right corner of a listing. It's on the same line as the title of the auction.
Is your site sponsored or endorsed by eBay? Are you affiliated with eBay?
No, we are not sponsored, endorsed or affiliated with eBay in any way. We simply offer a 3rd party service that we think is very useful for eBay users.
Are you going to send me unwanted messages after my auctions are over?
No, we do not send any unwanted messages. The only text message you should receive from us is the reminder about your upcoming auction ending.
